Every page here is a real document before any script runs: semantic headings in order, one main landmark, a skip link, and navigation that works from the keyboard alone.
Meaning never rides on colour alone
A substituted chord in a changes table is marked by its own label and its Roman numeral, not only by a tint. A keyboard diagram labels every key it lights. A chord diagram carries a text description of what it sounds. Colour is decoration on all of them, so a reader who cannot distinguish two of the accents loses nothing but decoration.
Contrast
Every colour pairing in the design system is scored against the WCAG AA thresholds in the build, across every theme this site offers rather than only the default. A pairing that fails is a failed build, not a note in a backlog.
Motion and audio
Nothing moves on its own and nothing plays without being asked. The chord transports on the fretted seats start only on a press and stop on one. The keyboard seat plays nothing at all.
Diagrams
Chord charts, fretboard maps and keyboard diagrams are exposed to assistive technology as images with a written description of the notes they show, generated from the same data that draws them, so the description cannot drift from the picture.
Where it falls short, and how to say so
The interactive fretboard explorer is a genuinely visual tool, and while every note it lights is announced, exploring a whole board that way is slower than it should be. If something here is unusable for you, the fastest fix starts with hearing about it — write via the network's contact page and it will be read.
